Fishing with Dad and Uncle Fred

We took Dylan and Kelsey fishing at one of the local piers and they both caught some fish and had a good time. Dylan had a good time until he did not catch the last fish of the night. See the pics in " I did not catch a Fish".

I did not catch a fish

On the last cast of the night Dylan really wanted to catch another fish but after reeling in the line and not seeing a fish he was very upset. He cried all the way to the truck and halfway home before falling asleep.

Alligator Alley

About a mile from Diane's house is a place were you can see alligators in there natural habitat. The locals call it alligator alley. We went several times I never saw any swimming but the kids did when mom and Diane took them. Dylan being a kid liked to scare his mom by climbing on the railing but you now boys will be boys. These pics are not the actual gators but statues. I was never able to get any good pictures of the actual gators.

Catch of the Day - Crawfish

While in Alabama I took every advantage to eat things not available in Utah. One of my top seafood to eat beside shrimp is crawfish. Here are some pics of the tasty little critters. Some before ripping the tails off to get to the meat and sucking the juice from the heads and others after eating.

Bass Pro Shops

While Donna and her sister were out shopping and having fun alone. Me and uncle Fred took the kids to bass pro shops. The kids eventhough scared at first they liked seeing the stuffed animals and checking out the fish. I think the highlight for the kids was getting on all the boats. I went back by myself and took a few cool pics.

Playing with the Birds

While at the bay beach we feed and played with the birds.

Fairhope pier

The beach on mobile bay is in fairhope alabama. There is a really cool pier that goes out into the water. You can fish off the pier or tie your boat up to it and eat in the resturant on the pier.
